What are the Causes of Itchy Right Palm and Its Home Remedies

Itchy Right Palm

The palm is one of the most active areas of the hands. Since it does not have any hair, it is always vulnerable to changes in the environment.

Itching is considered as the most common type of symptom that is experienced by patients that have certain skin conditions. It is even more common when associated with the palms. However, there are medical conditions that are happening internally which can also trigger palms to itch.

Patients that have itchy palms especially on their dominant hand like the right palm find the symptom distracting.

What is worse is that excessive scratching which can often relieve itchiness can damage the skin on the palms and can trigger an infection.

Itchy Right Palm Causes

  • Contact with irritants. This is considered as one of the most common cause of the symptom. Examples of such irritants include certain detergents and antibacterial soaps that contain harsh chemicals.
